THERMOSTAT
- Is your thermostat set properly?
- Is your thermostat set to the correct temperature or to the appropriate seasonal setting (heating in winter, or cooling in summer)?
ELECTRICAL
- Is there electrical power to the furnace? Is the on/off switched on?
- Is the breaker in the electrical panel tripped or in the off position?
- Are the fuses functioning?
- Is the furnace door secure and in the proper position?
FILTERS
- Are you filters dirty?
- Is there any blockage to your cold air return?
HIGH EFFICIENCY FURNACES
- Are your vents free of ice, snow or dirt?
